OmniCTF

OmniCTF is our Capture the Flag program. A Capture the Flag competition, or CTF, uses authorized security challenges. A team solves each challenge and finds a hidden code called a flag.

The 2026 event was an online competition that ran for 48 hours. Teams used practical security skills to inspect challenge systems and recover flags. The program included a path with 12 team places for the finals stage.

OmniCTF gives participants a defined scope and a clear goal. The challenge system is built for testing. This lets learners practice technical methods without targeting real people, services, or data.

Public cybersecurity education

OmniCYBR publishes original beginner guides on this website. These resources explain competition terms, safe testing, web security, cryptography, digital forensics, and challenge design. They are available without a Discord account.

Each guide has a specific learning goal. It defines necessary technical terms and includes practical questions that a learner can use. The resources do not instruct readers to test systems without permission.

Community participation

Cybersecurity education needs more than competitors. Challenge authors create learning problems. Mentors help learners understand a method. Organizers define rules, review content, and support participants. Partners can help education reach more people.

The Join page explains these roles. It also gives visitors a direct email route. Discord remains available for community discussion and event notices, but it is not the only way to contact OmniCYBR.

Public benefit, not commercial activity

OmniCYBR's current public resources are free. This website does not sell products or services, offer paid consultations, display advertising, or use affiliate links. Its purpose is to publish cybersecurity education, explain our nonprofit programs, and help people take part safely.

If a future activity has a fee, sponsor, or commercial element, we will explain the cost and how it supports the nonprofit mission before registration opens.
