Our standards

• Use respectful language. Give clear and useful feedback.
• Welcome people of all backgrounds and experience levels.
• Obey privacy rules, challenge rules, and test limits.
• Share technical information responsibly. Credit the work of other people.

Responsible security practice

• Test only the systems, files, and accounts identified in an activity's written scope.
• Stop testing if you encounter real private data, an unrelated service, or an effect outside the intended challenge.
• Do not target another participant, organizer, sponsor, hosting provider, or third party.
• Do not share credentials, private data, harmful files, or instructions intended for unauthorized access.

Community safety

Do not harass, discriminate against, threaten, or disrupt another person. Do not access systems without permission. Do not publish private data.

Raise a concern

Email hello@omnicybr.org. Use the subject “Community conduct.” Give the minimum information that the organizers need to understand the concern. Do not investigate another person or expose private information to prove a report.

How concerns are handled

Organizers can remove content, limit access, pause an activity, or remove a participant when needed to protect people, systems, or data. A response will consider the available evidence, the seriousness of the conduct, and the safety of the people involved.

We cannot guarantee confidentiality when disclosure is required to protect someone from harm or to comply with law. We will otherwise limit a report to the people who need it to review the concern.

Where this applies

This Code of Conduct applies to OmniCYBR events, workshops, official community channels, and activities that OmniCYBR organizers lead.
